Used on classical guitars. Plain strings are made of a solid nylon filament. It is similar to, but not the same as, the nylon used for fishing line.
First, second and third strings are black ball end. Gauges: First = .028, Second = .032, Third = .040 Gold ball end fourth, fifth, and sixth wound strings are made of 80/20 bronze alloy wrapped around a nylon floss core. Gauges: Fourth = .030, Fifth = .036, Sixth = .042
