Lakland USA 5-String Bass Guitar
Vintage meets modern. The 55-AJ incorporates the vintage neck shape, 35” scale design and feel of the 55-60, but adds a beautiful figured “drop top” with our LH3 3 band EQ preamp mounted from the back for a beautifully finished Active J. The AJ comes with either single coil or hum-canceling pickups that offer a bit more modern attack when paired with our preamp.

All Lakland 5-strings are 35″ scale with fingerboards available in Birdseye Maple, straight grain Maple, Rosewood* or Ebony. Available white or black neck binding and matching headstock color on most finishes. Fretless version available with lined or unlined Ebony fingerboard with side dots.
All USA Series instruments include a hard shell case.
